Central Scotland East enjoys a strategic location in the Central Belt (the central lowlands of Scotland), with an excellent communications network, and is well established as a location for business and tourism.
There are around 800,000 people living in Central Scotland East, which is 15.8% of Scotland’s total population.
The region boasts a beautiful and diverse countryside and many attractive towns and cities, such as Perth and Dundee and the home of golf, St Andrews.
Scotland’s smallest county, Clackmannanshire is in Central Scotland East.
