About East Renfrewshire

East Renfrewshire is one of the smallest Local Authority areas in Scotland covering just 67 square miles, but it’s also one of the most ethnically diverse.

Located to the south of Glasgow, East Renfrewshire sits within some of Scotland’s most beautiful countryside. In fact, approximately two thirds of East Renfrewshire is rural farmland, the rest being mainly residential suburbs.

With good transport links, excellent schools and the highest proportion of families in Scotland, East Renfrewshire offers superb quality of life.

What’s more, there are many beautiful parks, golf clubs and sports centres for visitors and residents to enjoy.
