Arts and Culture

Glasgow has more than 20 museums and galleries, many of them free, and the city is home to Scotland’s national ballet and opera companies, Scottish Ballet and Scottish Opera.

In 1990 it was crowned European City of Culture and there’s a year-round buzz of festivals, theatre, live music and performance.
