Scottish singer-songwriter Sandi Thom is one of many artists taking part in this year's national busking event, 'Busking Cancer'. Running from 6th September for one week across the UK, the event aims to raise funds for Cancer Research.
Bands and musicians are being encouraged to raise money from sponsorship and by collecting whilst busking on the streets, with all monies raised going to the cancer charity. Last years, much smaller 3-hour event, managed to raise £1376 and organisers hope that this year's week-long musical extravaganza will raise much more.
