Figures published this week show that a record number of 77,380 people graduated from Scottish universities and colleges last year. This number is 3,000 more than the year before.
Of those who went on to permanent employment in the UK after qualifying, 81 percent found jobs in Scotland, a 2 percent rise on the year before. That figure rose to 92 percent for graduates who were already Scottish residents and found jobs in Scotland.
