University Halls of Residence

Universities and some colleges of further education offer accommodation known as Halls of Residence.

In most cases accommodation provided by the institution has to be arranged before you come to Scotland.

When you are offered a place on your course, you will usually be asked if you would like your institution either to provide accommodation or give advice on privately rented accommodation in the area.   Universities and colleges generally give priority to new students or students from overseas in their accommodation.
