Fabiola originally moved to Scotland to study. On completion of her Masters degree she found it difficult to obtain work in her chosen field within Scotland. Initially, the bright lights of London seemed a better option.

Having fallen in love with Scotland, Fabiola used her talents and initiative to set up her own business. This was a dream that she never thought she could achieve.

Fabiola misses the culture of her own country and of course her friends and family.

On a positive note she has settled well in Scotland, initially in St Andrews and currently in Edinburgh. When asked what she enjoys most about Scotland her reply was enthusiastic:

"Edinburgh is a beautiful city. There is access to a diversity of talks/conferences and seminars to broaden the mind. The transport network is fantastic, with freedom of movement a joy. I also love the men in kilts, bagpipe music and the community spirit within the many pubs."
