Enjoying life in Stirling is 25 year old Shannon Brown from sunny California. Adapting to the change in climate has proved to be easier than Shannon envisaged.
Living in Stirling she is enjoying a slower pace of life working in her chosen career field. As an editorial assistant with Endat Standard Indexes she is making good use of the degree which she completed at Stirling University in June 2005.
The Mlitt in Publishing Studies combined with a Fresh Talent Visa has enabled Shannon to benefit from the experience of living and working in Scotland.
Family and friends keep in touch and she has made many new friends since being here. She loves Stirling and finds it easy to travel between cities such as Glasgow and Edinburgh due to the efficient transport services with regular bus and train links.
The history and scenery of Scotland has sparked off much interest for Shannon who enjoys sharing her new found knowledge with family back in USA.
Shannon recommends that others take advantage of the Fresh Talent Initiative and explore opportunities in Scotland.
